Darlene leads the Global Supplier Diversity team for Dell Technologies, one of 29 companies listed on the Billion Dollar Roundtable. In addition to identifying qualified diverse suppliers that can support Dell’s strategic business objectives her team manages the supplier diversity outreach program the supplier development program (which includes the Women in Tech program) and the Tier 2 program. Darlene serves as the board Treasurer of the Southwest Minority Supplier Diversity Council, co-chairs the Government and Policy committee for Tech Scale, and chairs the Membership committee for the Billion Dollar Roundtable. In 2019, she was selected Advocate of the Year by the Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council. Prior to her current role, Darlene managed external strategic partnerships for Dell’s Global Diversity and Inclusion team and worked closely with the university relations, talent acquisition and employee resource groups to champion diversity and inclusion internally and externally. Before joining Dell, Darlene spent nine years in non-profit as the Director for the Foundation for Women’s Resources where she managed the highly acclaimed Leadership Texas, Leadership America, and Power Pipeline leadership programs for the top women leaders in Texas and throughout the United States. Darlene resides in Austin, Texas with her husband and two sons.
