Selena Cuffe is a globally recognized entrepreneur and executive, with over 25 years of experience in the food & beverage, consumer packaged goods, education, and finance industries, spanning the public, private and non-profit sectors. In March 2020, Selena was appointed President of SodexoMAGIC, a $600 million joint venture between NBA legend and hall of famer, Mr. Earvin “Magic Johnson” and French food and facilities management company, Sodexo, Inc. She is also co-founder of Heritage Link Brands, the largest wine importer and producer of African descent in the world.

Prior to joining SodexoMAGIC, Cuffe served as an investor and head strategist for a Silicon Valley Y Combinator Top 100 firm, acquiring food technology asset Byte Foods and negotiating strategic growth agreements with companies including real estate titan Tishman Speyer ($88+ billion under management) and media disruptor Reddit.

Selena received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Stanford University, with minors in Spanish and Portuguese, and she holds an MBA with honors from Harvard University, where she served as co-president of the Negotiations Club.

Cuffe honed her negotiation skills while serving as a director for the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) where she oversaw the J-1 Visa orientation of 50,000 people, annually. She is the recipient of the STAR Award (exceptional marketing performance) from the Procter & Gamble Company and honors for regional sales achievement (Rocky Mountain Region Top Performer) while serving as an executive for United Air Lines, Inc. Prior to United, Cuffe served as an analyst for Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch & Co.

A passionate activist for local and global community, Cuffe is a certified mediator, appointed by the Culver City Council to resolve landlord/tenant disputes in the high-technology, fast-growing Los Angeles suburb. Selena is also a life member of
the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Board Director for the Harvard Business School African American Alumni Association and Vice President Emeritus of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board. Selena also serves as an Advisor to Alcove, Global Fund for Widows, Face to Face Health, and the Stanford University Bing Overseas Studies Program.

She has been recognized for outstanding entrepreneurial achievement, social progress and innovation by Beverage Media, Black Enterprise, Bravo, CNN, Crain’s New York, ELLE, Essence, Forbes, Harvard Business School, Los Angeles Times, PBS, Time Magazine, Wine Spectator, and she is co-author of Inc. Magazine’s “Married with Business” column. Cuffe, a Diamond Life member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., has lived in four countries and travelled to over 40. She is also married and the mother of three children.
