NMSDC is excited to announce that Dr. Sylvia Acosta has joined our executive leadership team as senior vice president and chief growth officer. Acosta comes to NMSDC from YWCA El Paso del Norte, where she served as CEO for the nation’s largest YWCA.
NMSDC is excited to announce that Kurtis Trevan has joined NMSDC as a consultant to fill the role of vice president of MBE growth, entrepreneur-in-residence. Trevan comes to NMSDC from Gun Lake Investments (GLI), a leading tribally-owned private capital investment firm where he was CEO and co-founder.
Today marks my one-year anniversary as the CEO and president of NMSDC. Frankly, it has been one of the hardest roles I’ve ever had. And yet, it is also the most fulfilling one. There has been a lot of listening, learning, strategizing, brainstorming, recruiting, coaching, communicating, collaborating, negotiating, multi-tasking, and problem solving.
