The Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund is back—and now, it's nationwide.
We’re proud to announce that Cécred and the BeyGOOD Foundation launched the second iteration of the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, deepening the investment in the beauty industry and the professionals who bring it to life. This year, the Fund is available nationwide—expanding reach, empowering stylists, fueling entrepreneurship, and honoring the vital role salons play in their communities.
With a $500,000 commitment, the Fund will focus on two initiatives: providing capital and business development to salons and scholarships to cosmetology students.
Salon & Barbershop Business Grants – Empowering Entrepreneurs Nationwide
The Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund is proud to offer $370,000 of the $500,000 commitment to award $10,000 business grants to 37 salon and barbershop business owners who have demonstrated financial hardship. These grants are designed to empower licensed entrepreneurs with the resources they need to grow and thrive. In addition to financial assistance, these grants are designed to provide access to critical business development tools, mentorship and resources provided by The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). The top 40% of non-selected finalists will receive extended support including group coaching and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certification resources.
Eligibility Requirements:
Please review the application criteria carefully before applying below.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed barber, hairstylist, or cosmetologist
- Demonstrated financial hardship
- Proof of salon or barbershop business ownership or a lease agreement for a salon, suite, booth, or chair
- In business for at least 1 year
2025 Grant Timeline:
*Thirty-seven (37) grants will be awarded across each market on the following timeline:
- Applications Open: May 23, 2025
- Applications Close: June 13, 2025
