Founded in 1972, the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) is the nation’s longest-operating organization focused on expanding access to business opportunities through competitive, market-based engagement.

NMSDC’s work extends beyond supply chain development. We connect minority-owned businesses and corporate partners to support growth, innovation, and participation in the American free-market economy.

Today, certified minority-owned businesses within the NMSDC network collectively generate $599.7 billion in annual economic output, support over 2 million jobs, and contribute $168 billion in total wages to the U.S. economy.
