On Aug. 27, BP is hosting an event for certified diverse businesses in Houston to share business partnership opportunities that are available with the company. The event will provide certified enterprises the chance to:
- Learn how to bid for corporate contracts successfully.
- Explore their company’s potential in energy innovation.
- Network with industry leaders in procurement and energy.
During the event BP will share opportunities in the following areas:
National
- Refrigeration equipment providers and maintenance.
- Packaged beverages.
- Coffee.
Gulf of Mexico
- Logistics and fuel cargo carrying unit rentals.
- Logistics and fuel tank cleaning.
- Well services and subsurface.
- Drilling specialty geoscience.
- Drilling piping.
Onshore Wind
- Major corrective work (work done with a crane).
- Inspections, maintenance, and repair services of wind generators.
- Engineering, procurement, and construction of wind generators.
- Materials management.
- Wind generator parts (small parts, electrical parts, or larger parts like blades, gearboxes, etc)
- Balance of plant (electrical work).
- Logistics.
