MBE Center for Accelerated Growth, Innovation, and Resiliency
The National Minority Supplier Development Council’s (NMSDC’s) Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Center for Accelerated Growth, Innovation, and Resiliency is a new transformation center, funded in part by the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Capital Readiness Grant, to deliver comprehensive contract and capital readiness programming nationally through the NMSDC Network. The program brings together network members as well as leading minority business nonprofits and government agencies committed to scaling MBEs.
About the Center
NMSDC is a legacy organization with the reputation, subject matter experience, and financial capacity to scale and accelerate SEDI/MBE growth to meet the government’s strategy of modernizing the nation’s critical infrastructure, supply chain, and to help close the digital divide in underserved communities to ensure their future economic and climate resiliency.
The new NMSDC MBE Center for Accelerated Growth, Innovation, and Resiliency will focus on accelerating and scaling MBEs through capital access programs comprised of three pillars:
- Getting MBEs Contract Ready
- Capital Connection Programming and Platform
- Access to the NMSDC Matchmaking and Marketplace Tool and Opportunity Connections
NMSDC will accelerate MBE growth via training, access to capital, capacity building, matchmaking, events, networking, and through our fast network of corporate, capital, and government connections.
NMSDC will do this utilizing our existing national geographic reach and deep partnerships with the nation’s top Fortune 500 corporations as part of our already established supply chains in concert with NMSDC’s experience with state/local government in our regional affiliates.
The center will enable NMSDC to have an impact of:
