If you’re focused on scaling your business and strengthening your cybersecurity, the NMSDC CyberPro Training Network is the program for you. Tailored for small- and medium-sized businesses, this extensive training curriculum aims to help MBEs establish a holistic and prioritized security program within their business to ensure resilience against cyberattacks.
The training equips participants to prioritize security efforts, build a long-term and sustainable cybersecurity program, and prepare for the U.S. Department of Defense’s mandated Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC). The CMCC verifies your company employs information security practices that safeguard federal contract information and control unclassified information.
NMSDC CyberPro Training Network is a ten-week program that incorporates a blend of instructor-led classes and self-paced content, which is accessible to program participants throughout the duration.
2025 Program Schedule and Modules
The training program consists of five interactive modules, running from March 17 through May 27, including:
- Module 1: Introduction to Cybersecurity.
- Module 2: Starting and Managing a Security Program.
- Module 3: Building Cybersecurity Foundations and Awareness.
- Module 4: Understanding Protective Measures and Incident Handling.
- Module 5: Leveraging Resources and Preparing for the Worst Case.
In addition, throughout the NMSDC CyberPro Training Network, facilitators from Certus Cybersecurity will host regular office hours. These sessions
- Provide additional clarification on training material, if required.
- Provide supporting information to the participants for implementing policies, processes, or other security controls.
- Address any concerns regarding CMMC certification.
