The National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) applauds the recent landmark federal court ruling, upholding the grants from the Fearless Fund aimed at fostering the growth and development of businesses owned by Black women. We believe this decision marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing pursuit of equality, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the business landscape.

“This ruling is a major win for Black women entrepreneurs, minority-owned enterprises, and all Americans. NMSDC remains committed to fostering diversity, inclusion, and the growth of minority businesses for the betterment of our national economy,” stated NMSDC CEO and President Ying McGuire.

NMSDC remains at the forefront of championing minority business enterprises (MBEs) as an economic imperative for our nation. We reiterate our dedication to initiating and supporting programs designed to help minority-owned businesses navigate the myriad of challenges they encounter. By fostering collaboration and connection between MBEs and corporate members, we are creating a cohesive and inclusive business ecosystem.

NMSDC will maintain its resolve to develop transformative solutions and partnerships that empower minority entrepreneurs. We remain optimistic that this ruling will pave the way for further legislative and organizational measures to support diversity, business diversity, equity, and inclusion in the business realm. We will persist in our efforts to create a level playing that ensures the entrepreneurial spirit of minorities is celebrated, nurtured, and supported.
