NMSDC Recognizes Kelly Loeffler’s Appointment as SBA Administrator

Advocacy

NMSDC acknowledges Kelly Loeffler’s confirmation as Administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA) and recognizes her important role in shaping policies that impact America’s small businesses, including minority business enterprises (MBEs).

The SBA has long been a vital resource for small businesses, expanding access to capital, federal contracting, and technical assistance. These programs are essential to overall economic success—companies with strong supplier inclusion initiatives see a 133% higher return on procurement investments than those without them. To maximize this impact, SBA programs must work effectively for MBEs, fostering entrepreneurship, strengthening supply chains, and driving economic growth.

As we engage with the 119th Congress and the Trump-Vance Administration, NMSDC remains committed to advocating for policies that expand opportunity, promote resilience, and strengthen the MBE ecosystem to benefit the broader economy. NMSDC looks forward to working with Administrator Loeffler and her team to ensure that SBA initiatives continue to be responsive to the evolving needs of business owners of all types—supporting innovation, enhancing competitiveness, and contributing to long-term economic prosperity.
