The new office space is a shared office space at Virgo Business Centers. This move allows NMSDC the flexibility and efficiency to downscale our onsite footprint but maintain access to a full suite of services when we need them, including conference rooms, mail delivery, call answering, coworking space, and much more.
“Due to the pandemic, the previous office space has been dormant for over two years, yet NMSDC still had rent obligations to the tune of $1M annually,” comments Leahanne Thomas, NMSDC’s Chief Transformation Officer. “With staff accustomed to working from home and a new talent strategy in hiring (staff no longer must reside in NY to work at NMSDC), we can reinvest the savings directly back into our mission to serve as an MBE growth engine.”
