Ms. Barrett is the Chief Executive Officer of MacArthur Corporation, a manufacturing company headquartered in Michigan with operations in the U.S., China, Mexico and Poland. MacArthur is a world class manufacturer of innovative labels, tags, decals and functional film components for automotive, mobility, electronics, health technology, industrial and consumer goods sectors. MacArthur Corporation is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), and a certified Women Owned Small Business (WOSB). Ms. Barrett’s diverse career includes positions at global management consultancies McKinsey & Company and Charles River Associates, and engineering roles at Raytheon Company and Schlumberger. Ms. Barrett’s business experience spans the gamut of strategy, operations, innovation, globalization, and organizational performance.

She has worked in over 20 countries on complex business issues. She has an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Ms. Barrett serves on advisory boards to advance innovation and competitiveness across the U.S. manufacturing sector including the White House President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology Advanced Manufacturing Partnership, U.S. Department of Commerce Manufacturing Council, MForesight leadership council (a national think tank for Manufacturing innovation), and the University of Michigan Tauber Institute of Global Operations. In addition, Ms. Barrett presently serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council and is an active participant with the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council and APACC. She is an active volunteer, donor, and board member for non-profits in her local community and regular guest speaker on entrepreneurship at the University of Michigan.
