Event Access

What time zone will the event be in?

The Conference is taking place in Eastern Standard Time. You may click the Adjust hyperlink on the Home and Agenda pages to configure the event to your time zone. We have made considerations in scheduling our programming to serve the needs of our broad, globally-based audience as much as possible.

How do I register my staff?

There is no group registration for this event. Contact the NMSDC Finance Dept to register your staff.

What can I register my guests for?

Guests can attend the Awards Ceremony and the Post Conference Celebration.

How do I pay by invoice?

A request to pay by invoice must be sent to the NMSDC Finance Dept by Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Payment or purchase order must be received by Friday, October 23, 2020

I didn’t receive an email to access the NMSDC Conference and Business Opportunity Exchange. How do I access the virtual platform?

First, make sure you are registered for the event. Check your spam/junk folder for the confirmaion email.  If you are registered, you can access the event via the ‘Login’ button on the Conference virtual platform. *Please do not share your login info as this experience is created for your registrant type.

Sessions

How do I register for sessions?

General sessions are open to everyone and therefore you do not need to pre-select any as part of your registration. Simply tune-in to a general live session of your choosing, at the time it starts.  To remind yourself of upcoming sessions, make sure to ‘Add to Calendar’ from within each session description or within the session detail page.

How do I join a session?

Sessions will open 5 minutes prior to their start time.  The “Join Session” button will become readily available at that time.

Do sessions have a capacity?

There is no session capacity. However, certain members can attend member only sessions.

How do I watch On Demand sessions?

You do not need to sign up for On Demand sessions to watch them. Just login to the NMSDC Conference platform and click on the Video Vault icon when Conference begins on Monday, October 26, 2020 to view the sessions. The On Demand sessions will be available throughout the Conference.

How do I ensure the best video experience?

Just like any webinar, there are things you can do to ensure the best viewing experience. Make sure you have a strong internet connection. It also helps to close non-essential tabs in your browser. If you do experience buffering or your video freezes, reload the session page before contacting the Help Desk.

Virtual booths will be open 1- 4 pm EST Tuesday, October 27 and 8 am – 4 pm on Wednesday, October 28.

What should attendees expect when they join a virtual booth?
When you click on a Virtual Booth, you can chat with Exhibitors, download documents, and watch videos. Use the chat feature to let the exhibitor know which product or solution you’d like to learn more about.

How can Exhibitors learn more about virtual booths?

If you have additional questions after reviewing the Exhibitor page, schedule an info session with the Exhibitor Manager.

BizConnect Matchmaker

How do I register for BizConnect Matchmaker?

BizConnect Matchmaker is not a part of the Conference registration process and must be applied for separately. However, you must purchase a Full Conference registration ticket to participate. A link will be shared with Full Conference registrants in October.

When will I be approved to schedule appointments?

You will be approved once your Full Conference registration and NMSDC member status has been confirmed. MBE member status is confirmed within 48 hours of you uploading your NMSDC certification.

*NMSDC certifications that have expired or will expire within 30 days will not be approved. Corporate members who have lapsed in membership payment will not be able to participate.

Digital Ads

Where will my ad be placed?

Ads will be placed in the online directory.

What size should my ad be?

Please submit only .ai, .eps, print-ready PDF file, 300 dpi resolution or higher.

  • Full page 7 ½” x 10”
  • Half page horizontal 7 ½” x 4 ¾”
  • Half page vertical 3 ½” x 10”

Where should I upload my company’s ad?

Ads for the online directory should be uploaded here by  Thursday, October 12.
