Ian Shea and his team help the firm buy the goods and services from 3rd party suppliers that are needed to both run and grow the bank. The Sourcing & Procurement team is focused on leveraging the bank’s size and scale with the best suppliers from a quality, risk, cost and diversity perspective. Ian and his team spend most of their time managing the supplier onboarding process in driving the highest value to the bank as efficiently as possible. Ian’s team is responsible for over $17B in outsource spending, annually. Ian manages a team that includes the functions of Supplier Oversight, Category Sourcing, Procurement Operations, Supplier Relationship Management and Travel and spans the globe with team members in Jersey City, Columbus, Plano, London, Singapore, Bangalore and Warsaw. Ian has been with JPMC for 14 years. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in similar roles at both The Walt Disney Company and Amgen. He started his career at Deloitte & Touche as a financial auditor. Ian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy from Villanova University. Ian currently lives in Frisco, Texas with his wife, Cheryl, of 23 years, his two sons Jack and Quinn, and his German Shepherd, King.
