NMSDC CEO and President Ying McGuire was recently named one of 50 Women to Watch for Boards by 50/50 Women on Boards. This prestigious recognition highlights a diverse group of exceptionally qualified women leaders ready to serve on public company boards across North America.
In its second year, 50/50 Women on Boards received more than double the applicants from last year, providing unparalleled opportunities for businesses and recruiters to connect with validated board-ready candidates. This comprehensive approach bridges the gap in the search for highly qualified women directors.
The 2024 submissions were impressive with the most entrants coming from several diverse backgrounds including the Black, Hispanic/Latino, and AAPI communities, with strong representation from the technology, finance, and consumer sectors. Nearly 90% of applicants applied for the first time, highlighting the growing pool of board-ready talent.
“I am honored to be named to this esteemed list of women leaders and look forward to using this opportunity to elevate NMSDC and its work to accelerate MBE growth,” said NMSDC CEO and President Ying McGuire.
