BeyGOOD x Cécred Salon Business Grant Program
We recognize running your own business is difficult, no matter if you rent a booth, operate a salon, or work out of your home. Each year, twenty-five $10,000 grants will be awarded to qualifying salon business owners in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and New Jersey so they can continue their transformative impact in the community.*
Grant Application Criteria
Please review the application criteria carefully before applying below.
- Operate within one of the five focus markets:
- Atlanta
- Chicago
- Houston
- Los Angeles
- New Jersey
- Demonstrated need due to hardship.
- Licensed cosmetologist for a minimum of 2 years.
- Lease agreement for floating salon station or lease agreement for salon or proof of ownership.
- Compelling impact statement: personal statement/life impact story.
- In business for a minimum of 1 year.
Grant Timeline
*Five (5) grants will be awarded across each market, five (5) times a year, on the following timeline:
- February 20, 2024 – Applications open
- March 20, 2024 – Applications close
- April 20, 2024 – Recipients are announced
- May 1, 2024 – Applications open
- May 20, 2024 – Applications close
- June 20, 2024 – Recipients are announced
- July 1, 2024– Applications open
- July 20, 2024– Applications close
- August 20, 2024– Recipients are announced
- September 1, 2024- Applications open
- September 20, 2024– Applications close
- October 20, 2024– Recipients are announced
- November 1, 2024- Applications open
- November 20, 2024– Applications close
- December 20, 2024– Recipients are announced
