Sherry Diccion is Adient’s senior manager of global supplier diversity. She is responsible for the company’s $1.5 billion diverse supplier portfolio worldwide and has helped position Adient to receive numerous awards and recognition for its supplier diversity achievements. These awards include three consecutive “America’s Top Corporations for Women’s Business Enterprises” awards from the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), a “100 Corporations of the Year” award from Women’s Enterprise magazine, and several supplier diversity excellence awards from various auto manufacturers.

Since joining Johnson Controls — from which Adient spun off in 2016 — in 1991, Diccion has held a variety of leadership positions within the company, including several within Johnson Controls Building Efficiency. In her current role, she is involved with the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC), the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council and WEConnect International, serving on several of these organizations’ committees.

She also co-leads a business module with Toyota that facilitates conversations and networking events between business owners and corporate leaders, enhancing the opportunity for business development and future partnerships.

Diccion holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from Walsh College. She is active in Michigan’s chapter of the Council of Supplier Diversity and is part of Adient’s Women’s Resource Network leading the Professional Development pillar. In 2017, Diccion was named a Top 100 Leader in Supplier Diversity by Women’s Enterprise magazine, and in 2019, MMSDC named her Corporate Advocate of the Year.
