In her current role as Manager for the Impact Spending team Tanya is responsible for helping to procure between $1.9 and $2.3 billion annually in goods and services from diverse suppliers. Tanya leverages her deep expertise to help Fortune 500 companies develop and expand their supplier diversity programs in support of Kaiser Permanente’s supplier diversity goals.

Tanya leads our Supplier Development University program which kicked off in 2015 at the CFO Appreciation and Awards breakfast. Now in its 6th year, this event brings 75-100 diverse suppliers from across the country for a day of training, capacity building and networking with C-suite leaders in the organization.

Tanya has more than fifteen years’ experience in supplier diversity, most recently as a Senior Supplier Diversity Consultant for Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E).

Ms. Nixon serves as Chair on the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council (WRMSDC) as well as the Chair of Board Chairs for the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC).

Ms. Nixon holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, and a certificate in Human Resource Management.

In her spare time, Tanya enjoys reading, a little wine tasting and riding her Peloton.
