Dear NMSDC Family,

Thank you all for your passion and support – especially those that have reached out and provided valuable input as we move forward with positive change in the NMSDC network.

There is a great deal of positive change already underway at NMSDC. So, let’s talk about it:

In my short time as Interim President, many of you have reached out to express your continued support and excitement for the possibilities of the future of this great organization.  We thank you for your commitment and please know that your voice is heard.

This is a time of change, opportunity, and exponential growth for NMSDC. With so much at stake for minority businesses right now, I commit to keeping all better informed of what is happening with our organization.

Beginning today, we will issue bi-weekly electronic communications to our constituents to keep you abreast of our progress.  This is the beginning of an integrated communications strategy to inform and engage the entire NMSDC network. While there is much to share, I will try to limit the scope of each message to the key priorities Chairman Hinrichs outlined in his communication two weeks ago.  We are also exploring other interactive platforms for sharing information and we will keep you updated as they are implemented.

In my next message, I plan to share with you some exciting news about the upcoming 45th NMSDC Conference & Business Opportunity Exchange. We already have the highest level of sponsorship in place for this event, and based on the strength of our attendees, the event is shaping up to be one of our best ever.

Transparency and communication are going to be key components of our collective growth. Let’s keep the dialogue going and share in the prosperity together.
