Thanks to sponsor World Wide Technology and instructional partner Certus Cybersecurity, NMSDC is excited to announce the launch of the CyberPro Training Network. The program is an extensive training curriculum designed for small- and medium-sized businesses, helping them establish a prioritized security program for resilience against cyberattacks. It equips participants to prioritize security efforts, build a long-term and sustainable cybersecurity program, and prepare for the U.S. Department of Defense’s mandated Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
The NMSDC CyberPro Training Network takes place over ten weeks and incorporates a blend of instructor-led classes and self-paced content. Participants will engage in five modules focused on the following topics:
- Introduction to Cybersecurity.
- Starting a Security Program.
- Securing Assets and Gain Visibility.
- Taking Care of the Human Factor.
- Preparing for the Worst Case.
NMSDC program instructor Certus Cybersecurity will also host regular officer hours to provide participants the support they need to complete the program, prepare for CMMC certification, and implement cybersecurity processes and policies at their businesses.
