Nina Vaca is Chairman and CEO of Pinnacle Group, named the fastest-growing woman-owned company in the country in 2015 and 2018. Pinnacle has also been included on the Inc 500/5000 list of fasting growing companies 13 times. Vaca is one of the few Latinas in the nation serving on the boards of publicly traded companies.
In 2014, Vaca was appointed by the White House as a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship. She is a recipient of the coveted Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year award and the Goldman Sachs Most Intriguing Entrepreneur award. Vaca was a Henry Crown Fellow at Apen Institute and recognized as a Trailblazing Woman in Labor in Business by National Women’s History Project. Most recently ALPFA and Fortune Magazine named Vaca in the Top 5 of the 50 Most Powerful Latinas in America.
In addition to her business leadership, she has served as a civic leader and philanthropist, working relentlessly to expand opportunities for minorities and women in business. Over the years she has supported organizations that improve the lives of disabled veterans, women and children in domestic violence shelters, as well as students, parents, and teachers in Title I schools. Along with financial support, Pinnacle Group also provides extensive career preparation training and internship opportunities to high school and college students. Nina is particularly focused on expanding opportunities for women and Hispanics in STEM fields.
