NMSDC is deeply saddened by the devastation experienced by the residents of Maui caused by the recent wildfires. We encourage you to join the Western Regional Minority Supplier Development Council (WRMSDC) in their support of relief efforts for those impacted. WRMSDC is donating to and helping elevate the efforts of the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement’s (CNHA’s) Kākoʻo Maui Fund.
The Kākoʻo Maui Fund is providing resources that can be deployed quickly and efficiently to Hawaiian communities impacted by the Maui wildfires. The CNHA is working closely with state and county leaders, nonprofit organizations, and community members to get an understanding of the quickly evolving priorities. The funds they are raising will support evolving needs, including shelter, food, financial assistance, and other services as identified by its partners doing critical work on Maui. In addition, all donations will be doubled, thanks to matching funds that are being provided by several partner organizations.
